I riecieved my order of the sculpted stool templates and how to manual within a week of ordering, which I was very happy about. The templates were awesome and easy to use. The how to manual I think needed a lot more detail, having built maloof rockers in the past I was able to build this stool easily. All in all I managed to came out with a nice looking bar stool, and that’s what counts.
I did get a quick reply from the author the plans were shipped. I'm hoping the delay is simply due to the holidays; but we're going on 20 days and still no plans. I'm a big fan of Canadian Woodworks and really looking forward to receiving them. I hope to update my review when/if the product gets delivered.
In the end the stool turned out great, but I found the manual was a little short on detail. Some photos would have solved most of that problem. I had to scour YouTube videos in order to get the information I needed, which was time consuming and took me off project. Having said that I would recommend this to anyone looking for a challenge as I get nothing but complements for the barstool
